About
The Role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations with a heavy focus on cash flow forecasting and receivables management. Beyond standard compliance and reporting, the ideal candidate will be responsible for predicting income/expenses based on active Invoices and Purchase Orders (POs) and ensuring the timely collection of pending payments to maintain healthy liquidity.

Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & Cash Flow: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts by analyzing Invoices, POs, and historical data to predict future income and expenses.
- Receivables & Collections: Take ownership of the accounts receivable process; track pending payments, follow up with clients, and ensure high collection efficiency. SEZ & Statutory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with SEZ regulations (Softex, Serf) and handle all related filings accurately.
- Taxation & Filings: Manage timely filing for GST, TDS, ESI, and PF, ensuring strict adherence to Indian tax and labor laws.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent communication and trust.
- Financial Reporting: Perform month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and prepare accurate P&L statements and Balance Sheets.
- Payroll: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations and statutory deductions.
- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external auditors for smooth compliance checks.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. development services.
- Experience: 3–6 years of relevant experience, preferably within an SEZ company or a fast-paced startup environment.
- Software: Proficiency in Tally or QuickBooks. Strong familiarity with Zoho Books is highly preferred.
- Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to forecast budgets and manage working capital.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for professional yet firm payment collections and internal reporting.
